Omsk EMZ production modernization

This year, the Omsk Electromechanical Plant continues to implement an investment program aimed at updating the production line. So, in August, a CNC boring machine FGevo2000 (France) was commissioned to ensure the performance of marking, marking and milling operations. The machine allows you to perform operations without conducting a preliminary process of marking core. All operations are performed automatically, including a tool change. The installation of this equipment allows you to significantly simplify and speed up the work, eliminating unnecessary marking, coreing, use of templates and countersinking.

Vyacheslav Shipovalov, Chief Engineer: “The machine is now launched in test mode, the staff is actively developing skills through practical training and work performance. In the near future, we expect the arrival of high-performance carbide tools that will allow full use of the technical characteristics of the machine. ”

Omsk Electromechanical Plant was founded in 1958 as the base enterprise of the Ministry of Energy and Electrification of the RSFSR. Today, the Omsk Electromechanical Plant is among the largest producers of metal structures for the energy, oil and gas industry. The company performs a full cycle of work - from design to production and galvanizing of structures.
